No need to clear her name, for there is/was nothing shameful or dishonorable about being what people then called a "witch."

Such women typically were wise in the old ways, and were healers, herbalists. They were respected. The male-dominated christian priesthood could not abide it, and instigated their slaughter. The burning times brought the brutal torture of not mere thousands, but tens and perhaps hundreds of thousands of women. -
