The man was found guilty of being bin laden's driver. He admitted to that, so no big surprise there. He was not found guilty of activities that directly caused 9/11, etc. He drove a car around. That's all the prosecution proved. 5 1/2 years seems a reasonable sentence to me.30 years would have been....well....bizarre.

If you are found guilty of driving a car for an armed robber you can get life but drive a terrorist around and you only get 5 1/2 years. Seems to me that something is wrong here.
