    None of the counties in California can legally set their own policies on marriage equality. The state Supreme Court mandated the change, and eventually, the legislature will follow suit with a bill that the Governor will have to sign.

        i was just watching the kern county supervisors debate about this on youtube. they received legal opinions that the proposed move was illegal. nice to see they listened. now let's hope the message spreads.
