Nothing says pride more than a parade of people marching for a cause in which they deeply believe. For Canadians to see their military marching through the streets of Toronto shoulder to shoulder with their gay friends and neighbors is beyond awesome. Some day, perhaps, we will have such pride parades in the United States, in which soldiers can march without fear of reprisal or retribution.

If anyone thinks that we do not need gays and lesbians in the military, ask yourself this...why is it that most of our interpreters and translators happen to be gay? We lost a number of Arabic and Farsi translators to DADT, right at the start of the Iraqi invasion. That makes no sense.
