  Sums up the points I have made repeatedly all over Propeller. Is anyone other than the two of us listening to our rants? More to the point, what is being done to stab at the heart of the hydra?

    I'll agree with both of you - the problem of porn links on propeller is significant. But we do take the problem very seriously and your comments are not falling on deaf ears. As a scout, I am partially tasked with reporting spam on the website as I see it happen. Let me assure you both that I have personally made porn spam one of my highest priorities when I'm actively searching for spammers. I have noticed some of the others doing much of the same lately. I just took a look around the site for recent porn spam and although there were a few newly registered offenders, things looked relatively clean. And as always, if anyone is having problems with a particular spammer, feel free to send me a sitemail message and I'll be happy to look into it.

    Greetings david_nwpa,

    I have great respect for you and have spoken to you in the past about the spam problem and the G&L channel in particular. We feel the same frustrations that you do and are combating this insidious problem CONSTANTLY.

    Rest assured that when the new site launches, spam will be much less of an issue :)

  I'd like to second the words of my fellow Scout Capn Caveman above. The Propeller Team does take the problem seriously and we are developing new ways to combat the spammers. Your sinks do help a lot, letting those who of us who are trying to keep this type of submission off the site find the offenders more easily. Thank you for your commitment to Propeller.

  I am happy to see your article. I have no objection to porn, in it's place, but don't try to force it on me. And don't fill up what is supposed to be a legitimate source of news with it. Thank you for speaking up.

  Thank you for making such a postive statement about a rather negative situation....

  As others have said, I have no real objections to sexual content. However, when I log in to Propeller I am looking for news and debate on issues of importance and substance ....neither of which require lubricant or other specialized apparatus..

  I get my 'jollies' elsewhere...thank you very much!!
