There's a great documentary you must see. It's entitled "For the Bible Tells Me So." It's a very sad comment on how we as a culture have treated gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders (GLBT). And what's the impetus for such lousy treatment? Yep, The Bible. Or what people believe the Bible says.

Right, I doubt we are likely to see a line of Christians protesting Red Lobster's "All You Can Eat Shrimp Feast." What a bunch of silly nonsense and drivel. Yet people believe this Bible-stuff as if God wrote it or something.

I have always said that if you are going to use the Bible to condemn me, then you must use ALL of the bible. Condemn people who eat shrimp. Condemn those who wear two different fabrics. Condemn women who screamed while being raped.
There was a great story on here a few weeks ago where they put all of the laws in the Bible to a Bob Dylan song.
Everybody must get stoned! (according to the Bible)

I'm hetero, but I think the treatment of gays is too often deplorable. I am so sick and tired of the self-righteous using their bibles as weapons. Anyway, God didn't write a book -- PEOPLE did.
