It's not Gay, it's not Straight... it's just a simple rainbow!
Are there any Cosmic Surfers that know how to surf a Rainbow?

Good interview -- I'm eager to see the film. There are many more ministers -- gay and straight -- who have been disturbed to find themselves viewed as members of the largest hate group in the U.S.-- enough to start more of a dialog in mainstream churches about the need to be public about their beliefs to counteract the hate messages from the right. When you know and care about a young person who is told they are an abomination and rejected by God--If they are raised in a church they are exiled from salvation and community. If they're lucky they can be angry and bitter, reject family, community and god's damnation and abandonment, get over it, learn to love and move on. I think most people feel empty without a connection to a spiritual practice and identity--and you can't start to have such a connection till you can examine and truly shake off messages to hate who they are. I'm a white straight girl so it's easy for me to say this--not so easy if you've been the target.

I hate to burst you bubble benjy, but there is no "homosexual agenda"!
Unless you consider fighting for being treated equally under the law as is required under the Fourteenth Amendment... just like there was a "femininst agenda" and a "black agenda"...
The ones WITH an agenda are the Christofascists whose goals are to eliminate the Constitution and replace it with a Taliban-style theocracy!

Sounds like Rev Gen Robinson is ready for four padded walls, a padded floor, and a padded ceiling as well.
Sounds like Rev Gen Robinson is lost in Berkeley, California, yelling at a lamp post for a career.
