I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal, so what does that make me? I can't call myself a Republican anymore, not with the direction that party took. Rather, I'm a concerned citizen who believes we need to bring some intelligent debate back to the process. Unfortunately, all of the intelligent debate lately is coming from only one side, and it's not the fringe right.

I spent 6 years in the military and have earned the right to voice my opinion. I fought for our rights and guard them jealously.

I'm an educator and I take pride in my work.

I don't bother to visit the stories submitted by any of the resident far right fringe fanatics anymore. What's the point? They're given free-reign to be obnoxious and post as many lies as they can. I suggest everyone do the same and avoid those submissions. If no one bothers to get drawn into the inane, nonsensical rantings of the loons on those posts eventually they'll only be lying to themselves.
